Candles are used by Wiccans in numerous ways. For spells and rituals, including casting circles and meditation, candles are used pertaining to their colour. Different coloured candles are used for different meanings. For example, in a money spell, a green candle might be used, green being the colour for finance and money.
To properly light a candle, use a lighter or another candle. NEVER use matches, the sulfer in the matches will interfear with your ritual or spell. To estinguish a candle, use a candle snuffer or wave your hand over it with enough force to create a draft. Never blow a candle out either, as it can blow away the good Karma tat the spell, ritual, meditation has created.
